The team made it to Korea safely

Aloha All!
Thank you for all of your prayers and support !    We made into Kathmandu safely and

We are looking forward to seeing our extended family and friends in Nepal.   It is unfathomable to think what they are going through after the devastating earthquake that hit their country 2 weeks ago.   Many have lost their homes and are still sleeping outside with fears of more tremors.  With the loss of more than 8000 people and counting , my heart breaks for these precious people.

This medical mission trip to Nepal has been planned for the past 8+months and God knew that we would be going at such time as this!   Now more than ever, the Nepali people need help now that search and rescue organizations from the international community are starting to leave the country.   What was once front page news of CNN, NBC, fox, etc is now overshadowed by boxing , the latest Politics..   We are a medical team composed of 3 doctors, 2 nurses , 1 dentist and 2 multi-talented individuals...but we are totally ready to whatever it is that He wants us to do!

We are partnering with Vineyard Himalayan church for our 10th consecutive year and 12th time!   They are truly family to us.   They are currently in the process of helping several villages that have been affected by the earthquake.   They have been building shelters and cleaning up much of the remains/rubble from fallen houses.  They have also been bringing bags of rice and food to villagers that have not received any aid yet.   It has been a time in which they have been able and bring the love of Christ to their neighbors...even to those who 2 weeks ago persecuted them.

We have arrived in Korea for an overnight layover and then we fly into Kathmandu tomorrow am.   We meet up with Jamie our dentist in Kathmandu (our 8th team member ) who is coming from Texas.   Please keep us in your prayers.   Thank you thank you thank you to all of you!  Feel free to make comments or to send us words of encouragement of you feel lead to do so!

Many blessings !!!

Team Nepal.
