I wanted to share about one of our patients in clinic today. She came to me to discuss the fainting spells she has been having. She said this had been going on for a very long time. She said she believed she has an evil spirit. She stated that her 2 children have been bothered by the evil spirits as well. The children have broken bones because of being pushed and thrown by the spirits. She said that she has gone to a couple witch doctors and other sources that didn't help her. She was open to trying something different. We asked if we could pray with her. We told her that God loves her and that we believe He can heal her. She agreed to let us pray for her. A group of us began praying for her. Shortly after, her arms and legs straightened and she started contorting. This happened 2 separate times. After, she just fell back into our arms and we continued to pray. After a short while, we finished praying and we asked her how she felt. She said that she felt an evil spirit choking her, but it went away. She said she used to get these attacks, but hasn't felt it for 2 years. We explained to her that sometimes spirits can manifest before they leave. We also asked her if she wanted to accept Jesus as her savior and only God. She said yes, and we led her into a salvation prayer and she committed her life and her family to Jesus. She lit up with so much joy after this! She had the most beautiful smile. We were and are praising God for healing her in Jesus' name! I am so honored to partner with Jesus and His ministry!!

Hey guys! We made it back to Kathmandu from Sindhuli village this evening. We were there for 2 days doing a medical clinic for the people there. There were a lot of people injured from the earthquakes and a lot of people that lost their homes. A beautiful, smart young lady named Shanta took us to this village. She had been going there and bringing tarps and food for the people with her family. She has an amazing testimony. Dalen recorded it, so we will share at some point.

A summary of the past week.
Thanks Dalen!
Lazarus.....
I There was a young man named Akas that we were called over to see at about 9pm on Friday night. We had just finished having a time if worship and fellowship in the Nessing church and getting ready to sleep when we were summoned by sounds of wailing, screaming and crying. A young man ran over to us saying that his brother was "dead" and if we could come now! Not knowing what to expect we grabbed a bag of emergency medical supplies and ran up the hill to where the commotion was coming from. As we entered there was wailing , crying and yelling coming from about 20 people. There lay a young man..that was yelling/screaming in pain uncontrollably and holding his abdomen.
His eyes were closed and he was not able respond to anyone. We all started to pray over him and then we began to do a medical assessment. He appeared very ill and we were not sure if he would die in front of us. It felt like one of those "impossible" situations that only He could help. We were concerned about appendicitis/septic shock but we're praying it was not since there would be no way for him to get surgical care since the roads are still blocked. Lisa quickly got an IV in and we managed to get 2 bags of fluid in, IV antibiotics and nausea/pain med in. We kept praying over him and after about 15 minutes he began to settle down. The moaning and crying stopped. The room quieted and finally we felt God's peace in the room.
The rest of the team ministered to the family in the room and took care of a few other medical needs while we were waiting for the IV fluids to go in.
Within 1 hr Akas wakes up and states that he has to go the bathroom (a good medical sign when someone is very sick).
He actually gets up in our amazement and walks outside (with assistance ) to urinate! We were all amazed and speechless. That made us comfortable enough to leave him through the night after receiving antibiotics , IV fluids but most of all prayer !
The following morning was church service and to our amazement there came Akas walking in. I think it was his first time coming to Church He was so thankful and he told us that he felt so much better. I praise the Lord for brining healing to him. I truly know that He was the one that brought healing to this young man. Pastor Raju then re-named him "Lazarus" .... The scripture that came to me was 'Jesus looked at them and said " with man this is impossible , but not with God; all things are possible with God" ' Mark 10:27
Will upload the before picture later since I never had a pic in all the commotion.
Thank you all for your prayers !!!

Clinics ...and more
Thank you all for your prayers! We are all well and safe.
We took a walk through the village before our first clinic day and saw that about 90% of the houses are either completely down or severely damaged. It brought me to tears to see the loss that these people have had from the catastrophic earthquake that hit NEPAL 3 weeks ago.
Although the devastation in Nessing village was apparent we were greeted with warm smiles and "Jaimashi's" as we walked about the village. We were invited in to a few of the temporary shelters that have been built with salvaging parts of their houses that are remaining. Just being able to pray with and for them was encouraging for us. I think I had more tears than they did.
We completed 2 days of medical clinic and saw about 175 medical and dental patients. It was truly a blessing to be able to care for these people here in Nessing since they have but yet received any aid yet.
Our team had a late night emergency house visit to a sick young man last night around 9:30pm....more come

Praise the Lord!
It's confirmed we have 3 helicopter flights up to Nessing the afternoon. It's only a 20min flight. We have a confirmed flight back to Kathmandu on Sunday.
Pray for nice smooth and safe flights into and out of village and that we would be able to care for their needs. Thank you all for your prayer support !
Thank you for Misssion Aviation fellowship for booking the helicopters and all of you who donated financially to our trip as well.
Blessings!
Prayers for a safe flight into Nessing
Jaimashi !
We are all safe and well. We had a small trembler around 2am again but no apparent damage in our area. Still makes us a bit nervous but we were able to fall back to sleep.
Please pray for Nessing village which has endured lots of damage from the past 2 earthquakes. They still have not received any relief. We were blessed beyond measure by mission aviation fellowship (MAF) with a 90% discount on our helicopter flight to and from Nessing today. It will actually save about 3 days time and be cheaper than the usual 10hr jeep ride and 4-5hr hike. Apparently 18-20min by helicopter! This was truly a God situation since Dalen had connections with the people at MAF!
However --- Pray for favor this am as we go to book our return flight from Nessing this am. We already confirmed our flight out today at 1pm. We obviously won't be able to go unless they can confirm our returns. It would be a long walk!!!! So pray pray pray for favor this am.
We feel Gods peace in the midst of all of this.
Pray for steady ground and safety and that he would use us to bring healing and hope to the people.
We will keep you updated ! Thank you all for your prayers !!!

The team made it to Korea safely
Aloha All!
Thank you for all of your prayers and support ! We made into Kathmandu safely and
We are looking forward to seeing our extended family and friends in Nepal. It is unfathomable to think what they are going through after the devastating earthquake that hit their country 2 weeks ago. Many have lost their homes and are still sleeping outside with fears of more tremors. With the loss of more than 8000 people and counting , my heart breaks for these precious people.
This medical mission trip to Nepal has been planned for the past 8+months and God knew that we would be going at such time as this! Now more than ever, the Nepali people need help now that search and rescue organizations from the international community are starting to leave the country. What was once front page news of CNN, NBC, fox, etc is now overshadowed by boxing , the latest Politics.. We are a medical team composed of 3 doctors, 2 nurses , 1 dentist and 2 multi-talented individuals...but we are totally ready to whatever it is that He wants us to do!
We are partnering with Vineyard Himalayan church for our 10th consecutive year and 12th time! They are truly family to us. They are currently in the process of helping several villages that have been affected by the earthquake. They have been building shelters and cleaning up much of the remains/rubble from fallen houses. They have also been bringing bags of rice and food to villagers that have not received any aid yet. It has been a time in which they have been able and bring the love of Christ to their neighbors...even to those who 2 weeks ago persecuted them.
We have arrived in Korea for an overnight layover and then we fly into Kathmandu tomorrow am. We meet up with Jamie our dentist in Kathmandu (our 8th team member ) who is coming from Texas. Please keep us in your prayers. Thank you thank you thank you to all of you! Feel free to make comments or to send us words of encouragement of you feel lead to do so!
Many blessings !!!
Team Nepal.
