Lazarus.....

I There was a young man named Akas that we were called over to see at about 9pm on Friday night.  We had just finished having a time if worship and fellowship in the Nessing church and getting ready to sleep when we were summoned by sounds of wailing, screaming and crying.  A young man ran over to us saying that his brother was "dead" and if we could come now!   Not knowing what to expect we grabbed a bag of emergency  medical supplies and ran up the hill to where the commotion was coming from.   As we entered there was wailing , crying and yelling coming from about 20 people.   There lay a young man..that was yelling/screaming in pain uncontrollably and holding his abdomen.
His eyes were closed and he was not able respond to anyone.   We all started to pray over him and then we began to do a medical assessment. He appeared very ill and we were not sure if he would die in front of us.  It felt like one of those "impossible" situations that only He could help.  We were concerned about appendicitis/septic shock but we're praying it was not since there would be no way for him to get surgical care since the roads are still blocked.      Lisa quickly got an IV in and we managed to get 2 bags of fluid in, IV antibiotics and nausea/pain med in.  We kept praying over him and after about 15 minutes he began to settle down.  The moaning and crying stopped.  The room quieted and finally we felt God's peace in the room.
The rest of the team ministered to the family in the room and took care of a few other medical needs while we were waiting for the IV fluids to go in.

Within 1 hr Akas wakes up and states that he has to go the bathroom (a good medical sign when someone is very sick).
He actually gets up in our amazement and walks outside (with assistance ) to urinate!   We were all amazed and speechless.    That made us comfortable enough to leave him through the night after receiving antibiotics , IV fluids but most of all prayer !

The following morning was church service and to our amazement there came Akas walking in.   I think it was his first time coming to Church    He was so thankful and he told us that he felt so much better.  I praise the Lord for brining healing to him. I truly know that He was the one that brought healing to this young man.  Pastor Raju then re-named him "Lazarus" ....   The scripture that came to me was 'Jesus looked at them and said " with man this is impossible , but not with God; all things are possible with God" '  Mark 10:27

Will upload the before picture later since I never had a pic in all the commotion.

Thank you all for your prayers !!!
